We earn commission from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. Here is exactly how that works and what it does not change.
The short version
Toss & Turf earns commission from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. If you click a buy button and complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a percentage. You pay the same price you would have paid without us.
That is how the site is funded. There is no subscription, no paywall and no advertising.
Amazon Associates
Toss & Turf is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon is our default retailer for the practical reason that it carries almost everything in this category, ships reliably, and has a returns process readers already understand.

Where a manufacturer sells direct and we are not in their affiliate program, we still link them when they are the better place to buy. Those links earn us nothing and we would rather you had the right information.
How our links are built
Every buy link on this site routes through a redirect at /go/, which applies our affiliate tag and forwards you to the retailer. Three things worth knowing about it:
- It is excluded from search engines and never appears in our sitemap.
- Outbound commercial links carry
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is what Google's link-spam policy asks for. - It only ever forwards you to a retailer we have listed above. A link that tried to send you anywhere else would be rejected by the redirect itself.
What commission does not change
The ranking rule on how we pick contains no commission term. Picks are ordered on fit, published durability evidence, availability and how wide the playable age range is — in that order.
- We do not accept payment for a placement, a ranking or a review.
- We accept no free products.
- We do not reorder a roundup because one product pays more. Where a cheaper option is the better buy, it is ranked as the better buy.
- We do not remove a critical note to protect a commission. Every pick on this site carries a published “skip this if”.
Cookies
Clicking an affiliate link sets a cookie in your browser from the retailer, which is how they attribute a later purchase to us. Amazon's attribution window is 24 hours for most purchases. We do not set or read those cookies ourselves — see our privacy policy for what we do collect.
Prices
Prices shown on this site come from a live data layer, are stamped with the date they were checked, and disappear automatically once they are more than 48 hours old. Prices at the retailer change constantly and the price you see at checkout is the one that applies. Where we have no live price, the button says “check price” rather than showing you an old one.
Where this notice appears
A short version of this disclosure appears above the fold on every page carrying an affiliate link, not only here and not only in the footer. Every individual buy button also carries an #ad label linking back to this page.
