Camping inverts the usual selection. In a backyard, footprint is the constraint and weight barely matters. At a campsite, you have all the space in the world and every ounce has to be carried, packed, and carried again.

Molkky is untreated birch and yard dice are pine. Camping means dew every single night, and often rain. Both will take up moisture, gray and eventually raise their grain if they are left out.

What to leave at home

Cornhole. 38 to 46 published pounds of plywood. Not a camping game under any reading.
Giant stacking towers. Need a hard, level base. A campsite has neither.
Croquet. Nine wickets driven into forest ground, six mallets to carry, and a ball that has to run true through a wicket.
